Coggan picked up the gong for Male Artist of the Year for his song ‘Scotland’, from his new album The Wide Horizon.
The travelling musical family, the Moirs, won Song of the Year for an original work “The Journey”.
Sarah Moir, her husband Joel, plus teenage children Heath and Ashleigh have been on the road with their violins and cellos for 15 months.
Mrs Moir said they will return briefly to Wollongong in October as a guest artists of the Male Choir’s Association of Australia Concert at WIN Entertainment Centre.
