Illawarra moved back into the top-four with a commanding 8-3 win over Football NSW Institute and have two more matches against North West Sydney Koalas and North Shore Mariners to complete first round of games.
“If we can knock off Koalas this weekend and then the Mariners the following week, that should see us well and truly in the top-four and maybe even top-two,” Wallin said. “That would be a really good result considering the poor start with weather down here, training and injuries.
“It would be a great recovery for us, but we have to get through this week which will be a tough game.”
North West Sydney (12 points) are level on points and goal difference with Illawarra on the ladder, but behind on goals scored.
