The Sharks have now posted a whopping 116 points in their last two victories and sit at fourth on the ladder. It proved to be another tough day at the office for the home side who were tough and gutsy in the opening exchanges but couldn’t match the speed and tenacity of an experienced Sharks side. 

Shellharbour halfback Matt Carroll came up with three try assists for Abraham Atallah, Ryan McCracken and Ian Catania while fullback Jason Gray came up with an amazing 60 metre solo effort of his own. Carroll slotted three goals as Shellharbour led 22-0. 

Magpies’ front rower Luke Ryder came up with an amazing try saving effort in his own territory, which allowed for a much needed Josh Ingold try and at halftime Berry trailed by 18.

The visitors turned it up a notch in the second half, posting 34 unanswered points including an excellent hat-trick to a hard running Dylan McGregor. Catania, Brendan Kelly and Aaron McLachlan also got across while Carroll slotted five goals from six attempts. Josh Coulter had a late try for the hosts, bringing the fulltime score to 56-10.

In other matches Jamberoo defeated Warilla 32-0 in a fiery encounter. Albion Park defeated Milton-Ulladulla by 30-18. Kiama fought hard for their 24-4 victory over Nowra-Bomaderry while Gerringong remain on top of league with a 40-10 victory over Shellharbour Stingrays
