Stingrays coach Brett Wallin believes Illawarra’s impressive 3-1 come-from-behind win over North West Sydney Koalas will provide his squad with a huge confidence boost heading into the second half of the season.

Illawarra showed class and poise to come from 1-0 down at half time to record their fifth victory of the campaign at JJ Kelly Park.
A pair of own goals as well as Tilly Kramer’s strike cancelled out Tara Andrews first half strike.
The win solidified their place in the top-four, just two points behind ladder-leaders Macarthur Rams, and will provide a launching pad for the remainder of the campaign, according to Wallin.
"It is going to be great for us going forward," Wallin said.
"We come into the last game of the round now against North Shore looking to cement that top two spot and if results go our way we might even be top of the table.
"That would be miraculous if that happened given the poor start to the year we had.
"The girls' attitude is at the highest level at the moment and I couldn't be more proud.
"They are getting the results they deserve.”
Illawarra started the campaign with a pair of defeats to Sydney University and Football NSW Institute, but have since won five of their past six matches to skyrocket up the ladder.
They are now third in the competition and level on 15 points with both University and Blacktown Spartans, with Macarthur (17 points) setting the pace. Manly United (14 points) and Koalas (12 points) are both with in touching distance on a tightly-contested ladder.
Next Sunday’s match away from home against the Mariners will be the final game of the opening round of fixtures.
