Albion Park Salvos Store will have a grand re-opening on Saturday, June 17.
The store, located at 169 Tongarra Road, will be officially opened at 9am.
The opening will be followed by a grand opening sale with more than 8000 recycled garments, homewares, shoes, bags and accessories on-sale.
Salvos Stores area manager Philip Wahba said the store has been revamped and expanded in response to increased demand from the community.
“People from a diverse range of socio-economic backgrounds now shop at Salvos Stores,” he said.
“The store will have an even wider range of pre-loved and recycled furniture, clothing and other household items on sale at bargain prices.
“There is also increasing customer demand for our range of toiletries, cleaning products and other new household goods.”
Mr Wahba said that Salvos Stores provide a vital service to the region.
“All profits from Salvos Stores go towards running vital Salvation Army programs, which assist the less fortunate,” he said.
“By shopping at and donating to Salvos Stores, our customers and donors are also helping the environment by recycling their no longer required furniture, clothing and other items.
“We continue to work closely with government at all levels in developing sustainability programs which help reduce landfill.”
People wishing to donate to Salvos Stores can phone 137 258 to have their donation picked up, or deliver their donation during normal business hours to their nearest Salvos Store.
