Kneeboard titles to be held in Kiama

KNEEBOARDING

International competitors will take part in the third round of the Australian kneeboard titles, to be held in the Kiama area on November 10-11.

Some of the world’s best kneeboarders will battle it out in this prestigious event.

‘‘The final event of the year at Kiama is not only the perfect way to determine the winners of the open Australian championship, but also is the perfect prelude to the 2013 World Championships in Tahiti next year,’’ Kneeboard Surf Australia president John Clingan said yesterday.

‘‘We have a government-recognised team from Venezuela entering the event and we’re expecting a few individuals from New Zealand, Puerto Rico, the United States and all states across Australia.’’

The event is open to both male and female competitors and caters for people between under 16 to over 55 years of age.
