Childs retired from touring in 1997 and spent a decade recovering from Graves disease. In 2012 she moved to Myocum near Byron Bay, with her passion for live music returning.
Lately she’s been promoting “inner peace” teaching mass yoga classes whilst performing her songs, as well as crowdfunding to help rebuild earthquake ravaged Nepal.
Childs will bring her greatest hits to Anita’s Theatre in Thirroul for a concert on July 14.
The singer will also be taking a yoga workshop at Headlands Hotel on July 15.
