The Fury had been preparing for a crucial ‘six pointer’ on Saturday at Macedonia Park before club officials reschedule the highly-anticipated contest to Wednesday night.
Instead, Kemblawarra will travel to Memorial Park for their first match in the region’s knockout tournament.
It will be the Fury’s second encounter with the Rangers this season after they beat the newly-promoted side 2-0 in their first match of the campaign.
“It was tough start to the campaign for us,” Fury coach Luke McGuire said.
“Gavin O’Brien is coaching them now so they have changed the way the do things a bit since then.
“It should be a tough one because I think they would be looking to do really well in the Cup.
“We would love to go as far as we can as well in that competition.
“That’s why you go in things, to win them.”
Almost the entire first round of Cup matches will be played on Monday.
Before then, the remaining round 12 Illawarra Premier League games will be forced to sweat on predicted rain on Saturday.
On Saturday, Woonona are set to host South Coast United, Tarrawanna play Picton Rangers, Port Kembla meet Corrimal and Albion Park White Eagles face Wollongong United.
Wollongong Olympic host Cringila on Sunday.
