TAFE NSW campuses in Shellharbour, Wollongong, Wollongong West and Yallah will hold a number of Open Week events from June 19-24.
They are part of 130 TAFE NSW locations across the state collectively highlighting their extensive facilities, course offerings, employer partnerships, world-class training and technology.
Locations will feature live demonstrations and interactive signature events such as customised car painting, posy-making workshops, tips for building fashion portfolios, a fresh-cooking masterclass, and a Green Gate Organic Farm produce tour.
The first state-wide TAFE NSW Open Week, held in January, attracted more than 10,000 attendees to 1300 events, with a further 26,000 people watching online via Facebook Live events.
TAFE NSW offers more than 1200 on-campus and online courses, providing flexibility that allows students to balance their study, work and family commitments.
‘’We provide skills for today’s jobs and future careers. Open Week presents a great opportunity for one-on-one course advice, and to meet the teachers and past graduates from local TAFE NSW campuses to discuss training opportunities.’’
