It’s the second year the competition will hit North Beach aimed at all ages and abilities inlcuding junior and senior events plus a lunchtime shout out, while a DJ sets the mood with music.
The Illawarra was the first Australian city to host the inaugural event in October 2016.
“I was part of a team last year and can say it was an absolute blast and would encourage everyone to get a team together and give it a go,” Wollongong Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery said.
“There is a great atmosphere around the event, whether you win or lose you are sure to have a great time.”
It’s a modified and simpler version of one of the highest participation sports in the country.
The senior competition is open to women and mixed teams over the age of 18, and the junior competition will be split into age categories of under 18, under 15 and under 13.

Teams will compete in a one day round robin including finals with the seniors on Saturday October 21 playing for the giant cheque and James Cook University Cup, and a Juniors round robin event on Sunday.
