These iconic photos from the Lost Wollongong archives remind us of a simpler time. When food trucks drove down our streets, drive-in cinemas were all the rage and kids played on equipment they could properly hurt themselves on.
Other photos show us what we’ve lost (beloved ice creameries, those pink arches in the mall we loved to hate); and gained (major roads and bridges that made life so much easier).
