TAFE is too good to lose. That’s why Labor has already committed to guaranteeing at least two thirds of public vocational education funding for TAFE. The Liberal Government should do the same and stop their TAFE privatisation agenda.

A Labor Government will reverse Malcolm Turnbull’s $637 million TAFE cuts announced in the recent federal budget; invest in a new $100 million Building TAFE for the Future Fund to re-establish TAFE facilities in regional communities.

We know that pre-apprenticeships have been axed from our local TAFE campuses in Gilmore. A Labor Government will invest in pre-apprenticeship programs - preparing up to 10,000 young jobseekers to start an apprenticeship.

Labor will also establish an Advanced Entry Adult Apprenticeship program - to fast-track apprenticeships for up to 20,000 people facing redundancy or whose jobs have been lost. A Labor Government will also set a target of one in ten apprentices employed on all Commonwealth priority projects and major Government Business Enterprise projects.

On arrival at the Stewart street car park to attend my local church I was asked to pay $10 to park because Frozen was on at the Entertainment Centre. I was more disgusted that parents with young children who didn't pay the $10 to park had to carry and hold their children streets away.

Really WCC was it necessary to charge and make a couple of thousand dollars from your local ratepayers.

Joanne McCarthy's article 'Deja Vu With the Don' should be compulsory reading. The fawning she describes at those at Trump's first Cabinet meeting "was a weird but powerful warning".

McCarthy reminds us of the tragedies of past US Presidents Nixon and George W Bush which our lot in Canberra supported.

We still bear the scars of supporting the wars US Presidents have launched. Bush boasted it was "Mission completed" after a pulverising bombing of Iraq.

It was a disaster that is far completed. Trump boasts that he "will make America great again". He has dropped the Mother of All Bombs on Afghanistan where will he drop the next? The "weird" support that Trump received at his Cabinet must not be supported by Canberra's political class.

Trump is a nutter out of control with an agenda that threatens the world. And also at the top of his agenda is his denial of global warming. He has withdrawn America from the world  Paris agreement to address climate change which he has declared is a hoax. An action condemned by the United Nations but supported by a few nutters like himself.

Those involved in the protest march already have all the rights, freedoms and privileges in our country like everyone else, but demand special rights to legitimise their unnatural sexual disordered behaviour.

The term "marriage equality" is totally misleading, because it is about redefining and destroying God's view of marriage between a man and a woman.

The same-sex marriage activists know this, and for this reason they reject the notion of a plebiscite given they would lose. 

These activists are only interested in redefining marriage for their own purposes.
