A hang-glider has suffered facial injuries after falling 10 metres at Bald Hill on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Lady Wakehurst Drive at 1:35pm with reports a 43-year-old had gone off the cliff and was hurt.
Peter French from the Stanwell Park Hang-gliding and Paragliding Club said the injured pilot has at least 11 years flying experience.
“He was launching in light windy conditions. He tried to abort the launch but failed and basically collided with a large rock,” Mr French said.
“The aircraft sort of nose-dived over the edge.”
Police rescue, Fire and Rescue NSW and the SES were called to the scene, along with an ambulance helicopter.
An Ambulance NSW spokeswoman said medical team on board the chopper assessed the injured man after her was carried up the cliff.
He was taken to St George Hospital by road ambulance and is in stable condition.
