Temperatures in Wollongong were tipped to drop to 11 degrees by Friday morning, as 36 business and community leaders gathered for this year’s Vinnies CEO Sleepout at Wollongong’s St Mary Star of the Sea College.
The mercury might have been low, but the spirits of those taking part and the money raised for the NSW St Vincent de Paul Society’s homelessness and support services were high.
As of late on Thursday, the CEOs had raised a combined total of more than $93,000.
Aster Group chief executive Daniel Munk sat atop the list with $23,874.
This year the CEO Sleepout turned six years old and was the biggest yet in terms of the number of participants.
