Wollongong City Council has partnered with ProSound and Lighting to place a number of light installations across the city centre.
The event – Nights on Crown, Lights and Bites on a Winter’s Eve – includes moving searchlights across the night sky, projections on building facades like the Church in the Mall, coloured patterns across the pavers and glow furniture. Even kids can join in on the fun, with a light playground and a disco dance floor on offer.
The event, which started on Thursday and runs until Saturday, is aimed at encouraging people to visit the Wollongong city centre on winter evenings.
