In a showdown of premiership contenders, Shellharbour launched a stunning attacking barrage on the Superoos right-hand defensive edge.
It ensured the Sharks won 34-6, after leading by 22 at half-time.
“Very ordinary,” Jamberoo captain-coach Jono Dallas said.
“Our right edge leaked, I think it was five tries, whether that was them or the middle (third defenders) being lazy, we’ll have to wait and see.
“They’re way too good a team to give that sort of start to.
“Very disappointing, but hopefully we can fix it up pretty quick.”
Sharks coached Abed Atallah praised the team’s defensive effort, denying any hint of a Jamberoo comeback in the second half.
“Jamberoo can score a lot of points, they’ve shown that this year,” he said.
“It was nice to keep them to six points, off a kick, we’re pretty happy with that.”
Elsewhere, Gerringong bounced back from last week’s loss to Shellharbour with a hard-fought 30-14 victory over Port Kembla, with halfback Rixon Russell scoring a double.
Berry-Shoalhaven Heads fullback Josh Coulter also crossed twice to secure the Magpies’ second win in a row, edging out Albion Park-Oak Flats 12-10 and Centenary Field.
Kiama stayed in the minor premiership race with a 24-18 over Warilla.
