The program on July 10 includes a range of subject-specific lectures across 18 different subjects.
But in a first, program coordinators will also live stream lectures to all students, particularly those 28,000 year 12 students living in regional NSW who find it difficult to access quality subject-specific resources for their HSC.
Year 11 and 12 students can view high definition video that is broadcast live during these lectures, which will include all presentation material and access to detailed lecture notes.
A free lecture titled ‘ACE the HSC’ will also be streamed live on the HSC Help Facebook page on Monday, July 3 (10am-12pm).
Program director Shane Hardcastle said this session is relevant to students in year 11 and 12.
‘’Each lecture is designed specifically to increase student knowledge and skills prior to the HSC Trial Exams in Term 3,’’ he said.
Each two-hour session will be presented by highly experienced HSC teacher/markers.
They will address a number of areas including examination tips and strategies to maximising marks, insights into what HSC markers are looking for within responses and how to respond to a range of HSC questions and be provided with worked answers/solutions.
HSC in the Holidays is also held at UTS (July 3), Macquarie University (July 6) and the University of Newcastle (July 10).
