A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed at Wollongong overnight.

Emergency services were called to Walbon Crescent, Koonawarra about 9pm on Wednesday and found the 29-year-old with stab wounds to his torso.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before he was taken to Wollongong Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
His injuries are not considered life threatening.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact police via Crime Stoppers, 1800 333 000.
