ROUND 14 of the Group Seven rugby league season promises to have a huge impact on the finals hopes of several sides as the play-offs’ race heats up down south.

Currently sitting in fifth spot, Warilla will head to Michael Cronin Oval to take on the third-placed Lions after edging out Berry-Shoalhaven 28-26 last week to keep themselves one win clear of sixth-placed Nowra-Bomaderry.

The Jets breathed new life into their finals charge with an upset 36-24 win over Gerrringong last week and will be looking to build on that momentum when they host the league-leading Shellharbour Sharks on Sunday.

Kiama will be looking to maintain their two-win buffer on the Gorillas in fourth spot when they host Albion Park on Sunday while Port Kembla will be hoping to keep their finals hopes alive when they take on Stingrays of Shellharbour.

In the other Saturday match, Jamberoo will return from the bye to travel south to take on Milton-Ulladulla.
