The Mount Ousley product survived the final cut from 26 to 23 players for the three match tour in Myanmar.
Australia will begin their qualifying campaign on against Brunei Darussalam on 19 July before playing Singapore on 21 July and then the host nation, Myanmar (23 July).
Scott, who played 16 matches for the Wanderers last season, will likely play a crucial part in all three matches.
To qualify for the AFC U-23 Championship, Australia will need to finish top their group or be one of the best five second placed teams of the ten qualifying groups.
The Young Socceroos played two matches against Central Coast Mariners and Scott’s club teammates at the Wanderers in preparation for the tournament.
