A who’s who of the orchid society will headline the Illawarra District Orchid Society’s annual orchid workshop at Warilla Senior Citizens Centre this weekend.

The workshop on July 22-23 is held to promote the preservation and conservation of orchids in the Illawarra and South Coast region.

Guest speakers Alan Stephenson, David Gynn and ‘The Bush Tucker Man’, Terry Rankmore will be on hand to talk about various types of orchids.

There will be sale tables with a large variety of flowering size plants, potting supplies such as pots, potting mixes and fertilisers for orchids. Society members will be available to give advice on growing orchids, with growing notes freely available.
