Despite falling behind just three minutes in, the ladders leaders scored four unanswered goals in the second half to prevail at Ian McLennan Park. Ben McDonald scored a brace while Kyle Jackson and Marcus Beattie also hit the net to complete the title hopeful’s second half resurgence.
“We were just a bit flat in the fast half, but just didn’t execute and that cost us, but we came out in the second half and scored three minutes in. It flowed from there,” Bulli coach Matt Bailey said.
The win jumps Bulli back above Wollongong Olympic, who beat Albion Park White Eagles 3-0 on Saturday.
Kemblawarra Fury’s own title aspirations took a hit after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Tarrawanna on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Picton Rangers beat Cringila Lions 3-1.
