The cottage at 21 Campbell Street, Gerringong, is currently up for sale.
The renovated cottage is all on one level and dates back to the early 1900s.
It is set on a 1200sqm block with dual street access, and has an asking price of $1 million to $1.1 million.
Agent Angie Ritchie, director of Illawarra and Shoalhaven-based Zest Residential said 21 Campbell Street is a one-off.
She said this was a chance to own “a piece of Gerringong history” on a huge block with established gardens and many functional and sustainable features.
“There is a farmhouse up on the hill at the end of Campbell Street, and locals in the area tell me this house was originally built for a family member all those years ago,” she said.

According to the Domain Group, the median price of a four-bedroom house in Gerringong is $868,000, with 32 sold this year.
Domain Group demographics report that the average age of residents is 40-59, with 55 per cent families and the rest singles.
Forty per cent of residents fully own their own home, 34 per cent have a mortgage and 26 per cent are renting.
