‘Beaumaris’, located at 19/42 Cliff Road, Wollongong is being offered to the market for the first time in 40 years. The apartment is positioned on the crest of Cliff Road.
The single-level floor plan offers uninterrupted 360-degree views of ocean, coastline and the escarpment.
Agent Neil Webster, senior executive residential at Colliers International said the whole top-floor penthouse will be hitting the market at the end of this week.
The auction is scheduled for August 24.
Mr Webster said it was a unique property, and had been thoughtfully designed and built by its one and only owner with no expense spared.

He said this was a rare opportunity, and believed its uniqueness made it difficult to predict what price it may sell for.
“Many of the original features of this hyper luxury home were truly visionary and well ahead of their time,” Mr Webster said.
“A museum piece of classic architecture, attention to detail and quality construction, this home must be experienced to be appreciated.
“It’s got a real sense of style to it I think which other apartments don’t.

“There’s a lot of beautiful new apartments on the market now, as we’ve seen through development going on around Wollongong.
“But they’re quite sterile at times, I think. Whereas because this is something that was purpose-built and was custom-designed… They’ve added some really nice personal touches to it.
“There’s a lot of timber and glass throughout the apartment to give it a real sense of warmth.”
Mr Webster said the private whole floor, three-bedroom residence of more than 300sqm internally plus exclusive use of the entire roof of the building oozes coastal glamour.
He also said there was scope to add an additional entertaining space on the untouched rooftop level, subject to council approval.
Other features include ducted air conditioning with an abundance of natural light from all directions and numerous sky lights; secure double lock-up garage plus rear storage space; a maintained building with common barbecue area on the second level; and an over-sized master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite complete with full marble vanity.
Mr Webster said there was also a centrally located bar and lounge area complete with views over the city, with detailed timber paneling, chandeliers and bespoke stone feature walls adding to the elegance.
