The home at 102 Stafford Street, Gerroa sold prior to auction for $2.12 million earlier this month.
The home previously sold at auction for $1.15m in February 2014.
The four-bedroom house also contains two bathrooms and one parking space, and is on a 598sqm block of land.
Agent, Ray White Gerringong principal Neil Campbell said this was the highest sale for a residential home in Gerroa.
Mr Campbell said it was sold to expat Australians living in the Philippines who planned to eventually retire to Gerroa.
He said surf star Sally Fitzgibbons and singer Guy Sebastian both owned homes on the same side of Stafford Street.
“That is the premier location in Gerroa, on Stafford Street on the reserve side,” he said.
“It doesn’t get much better than that.”
Meanwhile, Ray White Gerringong also recently sold Lot 2, Saddleback Mountain Road, Kiama at auction for $2.1 million.
“This was a record in Kiama for a vacant small acreage block,” Mr Campbell said.
