Reports from before the sour system hit, indicated water temps are just as warm now as it was in January with the temp above 20 degrees and striped marlin were a definite target.
Yellowfin tuna were around Ulladulla or Batemans Bay way but you need to go way down towards Eden for any chance of a bluefin.
The stir up should have the snapper out and about over the next few days.
River and estuary fishing is always an option when the weather turns bad as luderick will move into calmer waters and while green weed is prime bait, don’t overlook squirt worms or small prawn section that will also give you a chance of whiting as a by catch. Minnamurra River fished well with some good bream and decent sized trevally pulled from around the railway bridge but you have to fish the prime time for best results.
