Coledale Twilight Market at Coledale Public School, December 20, 2pm-3pm
Bundle up the kids and a picnic blanket to enjoy food stalls, artisan, handmade and homemade products, entertainment at dusk. Details.
Twilight Markets, Flagstaff Hill, first Friday each month, 5.30pm-8.30pm
Head to Endeavour Drive in Wollongong with a picnic blanket to enjoy light music and savour flavours from international food stalls (woodfired pizza to French cuisine to delicious desserts). Details.
Collective Vibes at Berrycool Estate, every Saturday, 9am-3pm
This new market on Coolangatta Road in Coolangatta features 25 pop-up shops selling art, fashion, handmade, homewares and more, as well as live music, fresh produce, kids art, plus plants galore. Details.
Foragers Markets, Bulli Showground, every Sunday, 9am-2pm
An all-weather indoor and outdoor farmer’s market; on the second Sunday of each month the market expands to include artisans, designers, homewares, fashion and art; fourth Sunday of the month becomes a vintage market. Details.
Dapto Showground Markets, every Sunday, 7am-1pm
Caters for a wide range of merchandise from new and second-hand goods to fresh produce, clothing, plants, antiques and collectibles, furniture and many other kinds of goods. Details.
The Farm’s Market at Killalea State Park, first Sunday of the month
More than 90 stalls stocked with the latest fashions, local producers, sweets, brewers, artisans, florists and food in one of the most scenic settings in the Illawarra. Details.
Coledale Markets, Coledale Public School, every fourth Sunday, 9am-3pm
Rifle through the stalls of pre-loved clothes, books, earrings, crockery, paintings, beautiful handmade knits and soaps, amid the scent of curry and coffee, fresh bread and cakes. Details.
Warrawong Markets by the Lake, every Saturday, 7am-1pm
On Northcliff Drive, opposite Bunnings, stallholders sell new and secondhand goods, fresh produce, plants, craft, fashion and more. There are buskers, entertainment, food and drinks and plenty of space to sit and relax on beautiful Lake Illawarra. Details.
Eat Street in Crown Street Mall, every Thursday, 5pm-9pm
A delicious range of food stalls from local restaurants and traders - ribs, dumplings, hot dogs, Asian salads, burgers, and desserts, as well as live music and comfy seating. Details.
Friday Forage in Crown Street Mall, every Friday, 8am-3pm
Enjoy your weekly shop of fresh produce and tasty treats, take in the talent of local traders and musicians at Friday Forage on Crown. Details.
Shellharbour Village Marketplace at Pioneer Park, last Sunday of each month, 10am-3pm
Spend the day in the picturesque Shellharbour Village on Addison Street (next to the skate park) and browse through the markets. Details.
Kiama Farmers’ Market, Coronation Park at Surf Beach, every Wednesday, 3pm-6pm
A huge selection of seasonal produce direct from the farmer or maker. Along with fruit and veg, you’ll find find oysters, local beef, honey, eggs, milk straight from the local dairy, gelato, fresh cut flowers, cider and more on Manning Street. Details.
Kiama Makers and Growers Market, fourth Saturday of the month, 9am-2pm
A 'Make it, Bake it, Grow it, Sew it' market at Black Beach in Kiama, offering gourmet food, produce and handmade goods. Details.
Kiama Seaside Markets, third Sunday of the month, 9am-3pm
More than 100 stalls offer everything from handcrafted gifts, locally designed clothing, jewellery, art, vintage and up-cycled products, holistic health and wellness products, as well as a range of other unique products that are locally sourced, designed and created. Details.
Gerringong Village Markets, third Saturday of every month, 8.30am-1.30pm
Held in Gerringong Town Hall, this Rotary market offers handmade crafts, local produce, toys, books, jewellery, plants and clothes, hot food stalls, coffee and cakes. Details.
