The main aim of the ball is to give the community an opportunity to dress up in old world glamour whilst raising money and awareness for dog rescue.
“Last year we raised over $15,000 so hopefully we’ll raise more than that this year,” organiser Jude Felton said, who expects the event to sell-out soon.
Tickets include champagne, canapes, main meal, dessert and entertainment – including Sara Jeanne and the City Gents plus a fashion parade.
Since its inception the ball has raised $40,671 for animal welfare – including the Wollongong Animal Rescue Network, Oscar’s Law and the NSW Bull Terrier Rescue.
