This option is contained in the provider’s discussion paper for the 2019-2024 period.
“It outlines our preliminary thinking about key elements of our plans to meet their priorities and to make long-term efficient investment in the network,” Endeavour Energy's Chief Operating Officer Rod Howard said.
The paper suggests this option could provide encouragement for people to make better use of solar and battery power, and reduce strain on the network.
The flat charge – where people are charged the same rate regardless of time of day – is also an option being considered.
Customers can have their say on the discussion paper from now until September 1.
