Port Kembla tightened their grip on fifth spot after a stunning come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Tarrawanna at Wetherall Park on Saturday.

The Zebras were two goals down inside the opening five minutes as Woo Oh and Matthew Mazevski both hit the back of the net.

But Noel Spencer’s men never gave up. Matt Floro pulled a goal back before Justin Cario levelled the scores with a stunning long range drive less than a minute into the second half.

Kyoji Mori sealed Port’s comeback when he pounced first on a penalty miss.

The three points moves Port two clear of Wollongong United, who played out a scoreless draw on the same day.

Albion Park White Eagles kept their finals hopes alive with a 1-0 win over Woonona Sharks.

Park are four points behind Port.

On Sunday, ex-Wolves striker Nico Bernal scored twice as Corrimal Rangers beat South Coast United 2-0.
