Ben Hunt has sent a scare through the Brisbane camp after suffering an arm injury at training ahead of Friday night's NRL clash against his future club St George Illawarra.

The stand-in hooker left training clutching his arm after defensive drills on Tuesday ahead of the showdown with the club he will join next year on a $6 million deal.
Brisbane officials said Hunt appeared to suffer a cork but would be has since been cleared of serious damage, it is believed.
"I am pretty sure he is all good. They just take precautions around here," Brisbane winger Corey Oates said of Hunt's scare.
"It didn't look it was too serious. Looked like a cork which do hurt a fair bit."
Brisbane have cruised into the top two starting Sam Thaiday at No.9 before replacing him with Hunt after 20 minutes, following regular rake Andrew McCullough's season-ending knee injury three weeks ago.
The Dragons signed Hunt on a five-year deal from 2018 as their halfback.
Hunt has been relegated to back-up No.9 at the Broncos by Kodi Nikorima who has slotted effortlessly into the halves with Anthony Milford.
Nikorima has won all nine games he has played as Brisbane halfback, including eight alongside Milford. AAP
