Zone 16 finished fourth overall, as singles entrant Jayden Gebbie finished with the silver medal at the NSW junior inter-zone tournament at Dubbo.

Gebbie comfortably progressed all the way to the final, after winning all three preliminary games and his semi-final against his Zone Three opponent, winning 21-8 on Sunday.
But south-western Sydney’s Jono Davis, representing Zone 12 prevailed in the final 21-14. Nathan Stopher and Ryan Noronha finished second in their group, with a win, a draw and a loss, putting them into the fifith-to-eighth bracket for the finals.
They were sixth overall after going down 26-14 to Zone Two in their final game.
The Zone 16 fours group of Matt Softley, Brandon Aranda, Noel Stopher and Justin Rumble was fifth, winning two of their three preliminary fixtures and then sweeping through the fifith-to-eighth bracket.
Central Coast Zone 15’s Zach Nicholls, Brendan Stokes, Connor Freeman & Lachlan Freeman won the fours tournament, with Josh Lord & Zac Corr-Johnson from Zone 12 winning the pairs.
Sydney South West (Zone 12) finished as the champion team, with Sydney North West (Zone 10) as runner-up.
Zone 16 was fourth overall with 41 points, 11 behind Zone 12 and three behind third-placed Zone Two.

Windang Bowling Club will have two entrants at the NSW rookie pairs qualifier, as they look to add another success to the women’s state pennants fours title.
Kiama Bowling Club will host the rookie pairs on Saturday, with the two-pronged Windang attack meeting two from Oak Flats, one from Corrimal and Berry.
The state finals for the rookie pairs will be held on Sunday week, after Albion Park’s Darren Coombes represents Zone 16 in the singles on Saturday week.
