The Australian under 19s star suffered the injury, the second of his young career, playing in the US last year but feels he’s edging towards an early return to action.
“It has been just under five months at the moment,” Glover told the Hawks website.
“My strength is pretty good compared to my first ACL. I have good stability in the knee and feel pretty confident on the knee.
“I’m starting to run a bit now and hopefully in a week and a half I’ll move to some on-court work. Compared to the first one, my mental state is incredible. I feel like I could play now.
“Hopefully by Christmas time I’m back into full training and hopefully back on court”
Glover will be joined by Nic Pozoglou and Perth product Marshall Nelson as development players for the Hawks this season.
