Eden Public School teacher Emma Bolton lit up Australian television on Thursday night when she appeared on Millionaire Hot Seat on Channel 9.

The bubbly Pambula resident started the quiz show promisingly, tactfully opting out on a question before reappearing towards the end of the program.
“I’m so excited,” she told host Eddie McGuire ahead of her first question.
Ms Bolton nailed the first question with confidence, despite the embarrassing consequences of answering a shape question incorrectly.
Then there was a nervous moment on the following question, which she again answered correctly.
Fortunately she knew the Destiny’s Child answer before the options even appeared.
Yet a question regarding a viaduct led Ms Bolton to pass the buck.
Ms Bolton returned later in the program, needing to answer five questions in a row to win $50,000.
She said if she won the prize money it would go towards a pool in the backyard.
On the next question she took a stab at the Hibiscus Coast falling north of Mackay, Queensland.
Then a horse racing question tested Ms Bolton’s sporting memory, with her husband, Todd, watching on from the stands knowing the answer.
Ms Bolton prevailed, only to fall short on an Australian currency question.
Despite not claiming the big win, Ms Bolton was incredibly entertaining and proved her quiz credentials.
The Magnet could not reach Ms Bolton because she is overseas.
