And is hosting an exhibition of what he describes as “John’s outstanding wildlife images” at his Central Coast Gallery at Erina Heights for the next week.
Duncan said Wiseman was someone with a passion and the drive, knowledge and determination to reinvent himself.
The John Wiseman on Safari” exhibition at Duncan’s gallery us the third in an ongoing initiative to showcase what he believes is outstanding photographic talent.
While running a successful financial planning business Wiseman was always looking for a creative outlet. He found satisfaction in photography which became almost life-consuming. In a tireless pursuit of his passion he traveled whenever he could and joined Ken Duncan on nine expeditions in Australia and overseas.
“John Wiseman is definitely one of Australia’s up and coming photographers. He has practiced his craft, honed his skills and developed into a gifted photographer. He already has several national and international awards to his credit,” Duncan said.
“John Wiseman on Safari” is only Wiseman’s second exhibition.
It runs from September 2 to 10. During that time the two photographers are teaming up to present some exclusive seminars to help budding photographers.
Pam Duncan said Wiseman’s story was inspiring. And his journey to become a full time professional photographer is extraordinary.
Wiseman said to do the best in anything it helps to be be mentored by the best. That is why he turned to Duncan for advice. And in that process he learned how to turn his digital and visual content into spectacular, archival, collectable, physical artworks.
Capturing exotic birds and big game has now become his primary passion and he has recently retired from the world of finance to commit himself full-time to his wildlife photography.
