Former Bachelor and Ninja Warrior Australia competitor Tim Robards and ex Special Forces commando and Australian Ninja Warrior Scott Evennett are among the guests at a lunch promoting men’s health in November.

Dr Simon Rosenbaum is keynote speaker at It’s A Blokes Lunch where 400 local businessmen will come together to help raise awareness about men’s health and support allied health services for Illawarra men in need.

Joshua Tree, of Better You Health Group, said goals included empowering men to participate in and transform their future through prevention, early intervention and direct action programs. He said the lunch is enjoying generous corporate support and hopes “it will grow to provide ongoing support and develop into a charity that provides services to men in need”. Supporters include Westfund’s Lence Naumovski, Top Blokes Foundation’s Melissa Abu-Gazaleh, Novotel’s Steve Savic, Illawarra Mercury’s Julian O'Brien and Graham Lancaster, of Lancaster Law and Mediation.

Highlights will be a celebrity blokes panel including Timmy Robards, Scott Evennett and keynote speaker Dr Simon Rosenbaum.

As well as a Q&A forum with high profile males from the business, media, sports, health and entertainment.

“It will be fantastic opportunity to network with 400 other men while assisting men within the Illawarra receive education, awareness and rehabilitation services for physical (prostate and testicular cancer), mental health conditions and preventative health,” Mr Tree said.
