An elderly pedestrian who was hit by a car at Oak Flats on Thursday morning has died in hospital.

NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to the accident on Central Avenue, near the Fisher Street roundabout, about 9.55am.
They found the woman, 78, with a head injury and multiple injuries to her lower body.
She was treated at the scene and transported by road ambulance to Illawarra Regional Airport, then airlifted to St George Hospital in a critical condition.
The woman died in hospital on Saturday morning.
The crash occurred after the woman stepped off a designated walkway in the middle of the road.
She was hit by a southbound Holden Commodore SS, which had a 23-year-old woman at the wheel.
A police investigation into the matter continues.
The driver was taken to Shellharbour Hospital for mandatory tests.
Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
