The awards aim to celebrate the best in architecture from across country NSW.
The following projects are among the entries:
*Escarpment House at Thirroul by Takt is competing in the ‘Residential Architecture – Houses (New)’ category.
*Hendry Beach House at Culburra Beach by I Architecture is competing in the ‘Residential Architecture - Houses (New)’ category.
*iAccelerate Centre at North Wollongong by ADM Architects is in the ‘Public and Commercial Architecture’ category.
*The Joint at Thirroul by Joint Modular is in the running in the ‘Residential Architecture – Affordable Housing (under $350,000)’ category.
They are among 31 projects competing in eight categories. Winners will be announced on October 5.
Winners of the seven categories will be decided by a panel of expert judges from the industry.
A final category will be decided by members of the public who can show their support for a favourite project by voting in the People’s Choice Award before 5pm on September 29.
