The opening follows the successful launch of Tella Balls Dessert Bars in Concord and Dulwich Hill.
The doors will officially open at 11am on Thursday with an array of sweets ranging from Nutella filled desserts such as the original Tella Ball doughnut, doughnut sliders, doughnut fries, doughnut ice-cream cone, dessert lasagne, dessert kebab, house made crepe and pancakes.
To celebrate the opening Illawarra’s first Tella Balls Dessert Bar is giving away free Tella Balls between 5pm and 7pm on Sunday.
The new 100 sqm store is located in The Avenue dining precinct on the western side of Stockland Shellharbour near Grill’d, Zeus and Coffee Club.
"We're really excited about coming to Shellharbour,” founder and co-owner Aki Daikos said.
“We’ve had a big response on social media coming from followers living in the Central Coast, and our business has grown rapidly siince its opening in Dulwich Hill last year. So it seemed only right to open our third store at Shellharbour.”
They wanted to create a unique recognisable brand for dessert lovers.
