South Coast coffee and cultivated seaweed have ended up on the menu of the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest food trade event, Fine Food Australia, in Sydney’s Darling Harbour this week.

Gerringong’s Daily Grind Coffee Company and PhycoFood of Bomaderry were chosen with 14 other businesses to represent the state on the NSW Government sponsored Flavours of NSW stand at the event held at the International Convention Centre.

Minister for Trade and Industry Niall Blair said he was proud of the range of “outstanding products” from all across the state.

“There aren’t many places in the world that can lay claim to having foods ranging from bush tucker cheese to seaweed pasta,” Mr Blair said.

Exhibitors were chosen for their quality and growth potential as well as their ability to showcase the variety of NSW produce and interesting products.
