NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to the crash on Donald Street at about midday on Tuesday.
An 89-year-old man has freed himself from the overturned car, suffering cuts to his hand and elbow, according to initial reports.
There were no other cars involved in the crash.
Witnesses to the accident have told police the man was travelling southbound at about 30km/h when he moved his car to the extreme left side of the road to try and let their oncoming car pass.
As a result he clipped a parked car, dislodged its rear wheel and appeared to have driven up that wheel, causing his own car to overturn.
Emergency services remain on site.
