Cricket Australia has made changes in regard to junior bowling guidelines, in a bid to further reduce the risk of injury for young players.

The moves are intended to simplify the rules around players involved in junior and senior or representative cricket on a single weekend.
Among the changes include combined 5-8 years, and under 10 into an under 11 group which fits with the endorsed junior formats.
This means all players could bowl two-over spells and up to four in a match.
Under 12 and 13 combined, bowling four over spells and eight overs maximum per day.
Under 15, unchanged and combined with under 14, meaning the under 14s can bowl can bowl two more overs in a day compared to the existing guidelines.
