The pair will be in conversation with Winnie Dunn as part of the Wollongong Writers Festival and will discuss their writing, advocacy and experiences and the ways in which their own lives can be a political act.
Clementine’s latest book Fight Like a Girl expresses her feminist views with flair, insight and “righteous rage”.
Her work has radically challenged the issues of men’s violence against women, rape culture and gender warfare in Australia. She demands that the world do better.
Ellen is a Yugambeh woman from South East Queensland. Through her poetry collection, Comfort Food, and her fiction collection, Heat and Light, she voices indigenous people’s call for freedom and belonging.
