Albion Park’s quest for a fourth piece of silverware got off to the perfect start in their first round clash of the Champion of Champions on Sunday.

The region’s premier All Age Women’s team were too classy as they beat Balmain DFC 3-0 at Myimbarr Park.

It moves Park into the quarter finals of the tournament, They have already loaded up their trophy cabinet this season after winning the league title, grand final and State Cup. The club also took home several top accolades at the Women’s Award Night on the weekend. 

Player of the Year – Div 4 - Angela Treglia (Oak Flats), Div 3 – Robyn Moylan (Oak Flats), U21s – Kristen Gorgieski (Park), Div 2 – Ashleigh Matthews (Dandaloo), Div 1– Brittany Ring (Park). 

Coach of the Year -  Macca Davies (Albion Park)

Dot Reed Stephenson Club Person of the Year – Eric and Noeleyn Gray, and Noel Wynn (All Tarrawanna)

Goalkeeping Development Award – Matilda Davis-Raiss  (Thirroul FC).
