The Duke of York will formally launch the University of Wollongong’s Global Leaders Education and Development (GoLEaD) Program.
The over 100 HSC students who are predicted to score amongst the top five percent of students in Australia in this year’s HSC, are slated to attend the program launch.
The GoLEaD program, which will offer students a unique immersive education and cultural experience in three different cultural settings in the Middle East, Asia and China, is the brainchild of UOW Deputy Vice Chancellor (Global Strategy) Professor Alex Frino.
‘’We are delighted that the program is being launched by HRH The Duke of York – a global leader himself – who will be at the university on Tuesday to host the bootcamp for his Pitch@Palace program – a global program designed to accelerate start-ups of entrepreneurs across the globe,’’ Prof Frino said.
‘’Prospective students and their parents will be able to meet the prince over a cup of tea and hear more about the program.’’
