CAMPING
Amsterdam company KarTent have launched their biodegradable tents, made out of recycled cardboard, which are available for the Yours and Owls Festival.
According to KarTent one in four people leave their festival tent behind after a festival, globally, for reasons like laziness and damage.
Campers don’t need to worry about the weather as the design of the temporary home is to be able to absorb up to 400 per cent of its own weight in water.
Camping tickets are for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. The campsite is located right next to the beach at Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort which is about a 10-minute walk from the festival site.
Camping is for tents only and parking is off site. Camping passes are now exhausted.
