Wollongong Central regional general manager Antony Keenan said Swarovski will open its new Crystal Forest store in November just a few weeks after David Jones, the David Jones Food Hall and 10 new speciality stores such as Mecca Maxima, T2 and Peter Alexander open on Thursday.
Mr Keenan said Swarovski was renowned for glamorous crystal jewellery, fashion accessories and watches.
He said the new contemporary store brought another internationally recognised brand to Wollongong Central and the city centre.
It will be located near Mecca Maxima on level one of the Gateway Building.
“Swarovski is well respected around the world for the beauty of its designs and we look forward to welcoming them into the centre,” he said.
“We believe their range of accessories and gifts will complement the mix offered by our current and soon-to-open retailers, generating even greater variety for our customers. Along with other new retailers including Bardot Junior, who will open soon after our launch on Thursday October 5, Swarovski will be trading in plenty of time for Christmas.”
