Pat Grant, Elin Anderssan, Louie Joyce and Mary Van Reyk will join other visiting artists for an evening of spoken word, graphic art and music from Shining Bird at the Railway Institute Hall from 7pm.
Titled “Read To Me”, Gabriel Clark and Fionn McCabe created the event as a platform for cartoonists and graphic storytellers to share their work with a live audience.
It follows on from a Zine Fair earlier in the day at the same venue, which aims to reignite the region’s interest in do-it-yourself publishing.
Other artists part of the reading include: Meg Osha, Fionn Mcabe, Leigh Rigozzi and Ali Chalmers.
”Read To Me” runs from 7pm – 10pm at Thirroul Railway Institute Hall, next to the train station. Cost $5.
