Keiraville’s Jeff Apter has written more than 20 biographies and will share his knowledge at a writing workshop on November 4.
It’s followed by a talk and book signing of his latest offering High Voltage: The Life of Angus Young – a book its subject refused to be interviewed for.
Apter has come to understand a biographer needs to be equal parts historian, trainspotter, storyteller and pop psychologist.
During the workshop he will discuss his long and winding career path, the books and records that inspired him, how to pitch to publishers and his idea on what makes a good bio.
