The three title fights are the feature attraction on a 16-fight card featuring fighters from all over Australia and New Zealand, including 10 local stars from the AMMA camp.
Sutherland fighter Luke Thompson, fighting out of Double Dragon gym, will take on tough Kiwi Haamiora Parsons out of Auckland’s Strikeforce stable for a South Pacific strap.
Danny Roberts will fly the flag for the AMMA stable when he takes on tough Thai Nakahrin Pakudoch for an East Coast title under full thai rules.
In other feature bouts, Fight Factory Central Coast’s Cooper Middleton will battle Tamim Allam for the NSW K1 title while Taipan Gym’s Abdul Elkobaitry will fight Tamowrth’s Josh McCullough for a title in support of Fight For Autism Australia.
It’s AMMA’s third Beach Bash fight night and head coach Nick Moulas says his team is primed for the rare chance to showcase their wares in front of a hometown crowd.
“It’s another awesome opportunity for our local fighters and a great show for the Illawarra,” Moulas said
“The level of sportsmanship and dedication to training is second to none and the professionalism from all of my team is outstanding.
“They're fit and they’re fight ready. It really is something our local community can be proud of and should get out and support”
